The beach is by far, one of my favourite places to be. I don’t know what it is about the beach, but I could stand there all day. With my toes curled up in the sand… looking out to the sea. I could watch the waves day after day, hour after hour, and still feel serene. This sense of calm fills my entire being simply by watching the sea!
And then comes the complete and utter awe at its beauty. The cooling blueness of the sea, the crystal clearness near the shore. The green of the ocean as you look further out, and finally the deep blue sea towards the horizon. The way the water glitters in the sun. What beauty! Have you ever seen anything so beautiful? It makes me smile just thinking about it. And the best bit? It’s completely natural… nature. God’s gift to mankind.
Whether it’s the early morning sunrise, the bellowing heat during the afternoon or the cooling evening sunset, no matter what time of the day, I love the beach. I love its different colours and the beauty it seems to give to everything around it…. and me. I love how it makes me feel – free and alive, just like the waves rolling to and from the shore. It fills my entire being with happiness and solitude.
