
Forgiveness is the key to my happiness. Forgiveness is the key to my self acceptance. Forgiveness is the first step in my healing process. Forgiving others is easy; as long as I put my pride and ego aside.
However, forgiving myself is the most difficult part, because it means admitting that there is something wrong. Admitting that I’m wrong. Admitting that I made a mistake. Admitting that I’m scared. Admitting that there’s pain. Admitting that I’m unhappy. Admitting that I need help.
Sometimes a person’s biggest enemy is his/herself. Forgiveness means admitting you’ve made a mistake. And sometimes admitting to yourselfis the hardest part, because it means you’ve fallen in your own eyes.
